SupplyCore Achieves CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) Certification, Reinforcing Commitment to Defense Cybersecurity Standards

SupplyCore has achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 (C3PAO). The certification, granted following a thorough assessment by a Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) authorized by The Cyber AB, confirms that SupplyCore has implemented the full set of security controls required under NIST SP 800-171r2 to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

This achievement places SupplyCore among a limited number of defense contractors nationwide to reach this level of certification as the Department of War (DoW) continues to raise cybersecurity expectations across its supply chain. With an estimated 80,000+ contractors expected to eventually be required to meet CMMC Level 2 requirements, SupplyCore’s early certification reflects its ongoing dedication to security, compliance, reliability, and mission readiness.

For more than 35 years, SupplyCore has provided dedicated support to the warfighter, evolving from a one-room, family-run business into a global operation serving the DoW and every branch of the military. Achieving CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) builds on that legacy, reinforcing the company’s ability to protect sensitive information while continuing to deliver dependable and trusted service to its customers and vendors.

“We are proud to achieve CMMC Level 2 (C3PAO) certification, as it demonstrates our commitment to protecting sensitive information and aligns with our mission to support our military and government customers with a high level of security,” said Zack Foster, Vice President, Information Technology. “This milestone reflects the hard work and dedication of our teams, ensuring that we meet the Department of War’s cybersecurity standards.”

The certification process required a comprehensive review of SupplyCore’s systems, policies, and operational procedures to ensure alignment with the DoW’s stringent security requirements. This included verification of the implementation of all 110 security controls and 320 assessment objectives outlined in the NIST SP 800-171r2 framework.

As CMMC Level 2 becomes a prerequisite for bidding on many defense contracts, this certification strengthens SupplyCore’s position to support current and future missions. It also provides added assurance to customers and vendors that SupplyCore maintains the operational discipline necessary to protect sensitive data throughout the contract lifecycle.
