SupplyCore President & CEO Peter Provenzano was honored by the Rockford Register Star as the newspaper’s 2017 Excalibur Award winner. According to the newspaper’s website, “The Rockford Register Star’s Excalibur Award is given to an individual for community service, excellence and making a difference in the Rock River Valley.” The Register Star noted Mr. Provenzano’s involvement in establishing Rockford’s City Market as well as his numerous other contributions to revitalizing the city’s downtown.
Upon receiving the award, Mr. Provenzano was quoted as saying: “I’m humbled and overwhelmed at the same time. I’m very, very appreciative of this recognition for the work that we’ve done so far, and tomorrow we’ll be back at work. But it’s great to take this moment to celebrate with this community that is really on the rise.”
