The Fleet Automotive Support Initiative Global

The Fleet Automotive Support Initiative Global (FASI-G) is the Defense Logistics Agency's Virtual Prime Vendor Initiative in support of land-based vehicles, enabling the DLA to leverage the electronic-commerce expertise of its first virtual prime contractor to reduce the inventories of spare and replacement parts now maintained by military depots.

As a FASI-G contractor, SupplyCore streamlines the purchasing process and manages thousands of parts from hundreds of suppliers that keep the Defense Department’s tanks, trucks and bulldozers rolling. SupplyCore handles not only acquisition and delivery of parts, but also forecasting and inventory management. Our primary goal is to improve customer support at the user level, as well as to reduce the inventories of spare and replacement parts now maintained by military depots.

How FASI-Global Works

The reliable delivery performance of FASI allows you to adjust your inventory levels to reflect the enhanced logistics response time (LRT). SupplyCore will provide direct delivery to the your activity’s retail and maintenance level areas, thus mitigating the need to maintain large local inventories.

SupplyCore will establish strategic transportation and source networks within each CONUS region being supported, further reducing LRT. SupplyCore is obligated to perform delivery based on the priority of customer requisitions.

SupplyCore will provide a customer service representative (CSR) that is dedicated to the region. The CSR will provide requisition status, help identify weaknesses in maintenance and internal logistics activities and provide technical expertise and training when necessary.




FASI-Global NSNs

SupplyCore provides nearly 700 individual NSNs for land-based vehicles through the FASI-G program. A booklet is available for download which contains a complete list of NSNs along with a brief description of each. Additionally, SupplyCore provides a searchable list through its online procurement system, Inventory-In-Motion (IIM).
